THIS MEDALLION is a limited edition and of � "PROOF" quality--as evidenced by the "M" on the� presentation� case, � the accompanying certificate, and the coin number 0505 on the edge. It has seldom been out of its protective case and presentation box, and then only for formal display in my University courses on international finance. The dies and coin blanks of proof-quality medallions -- like this one -- were� highly polished, double-struck with high pressure (160-180 tons), and handled with extreme care to insure that the end product is as perfect as humanly possible.� This medallion commemorates the historic gold rush in the Klondike during 1898. The reverse side depicts the official logo of the Yukon Anniversaries Commission and the obverse side features two Klondike prospectors at work.� Ships FREE to addresses in the USA with added protection, insurance, and tracking to insure safe delivery.
