Extremely clean Akai X-150D recorder, with VERY low hours, from a non-smoking home in temperature controlled conditions always. The machine has been stored in the original box in a closet for the past 17 years, and only now taken out for testing and pictures. (It was powered up over a 12 hour period, very slowly, on a variac). The tape path shows virtually no wear, and no dirt whatsoever, and there are no cosmetic marks of any kind anywhere on the unit (see pics). Operators manual is included.I don't like using words such as "pristine" or "Mint-In-Box", because they mean different things to different people, but I sincerely doubt that you'll find a finer example of this classic machine anywhere.Although the unit is offered as-is, with no returns, I can guarantee no DOA.The unit will ship in the original box, with all original packing material; unit weighs 35#, and the box measures 17" x 18" x 12". I will only charge actual shipping cost to the final destination, which will be added to the final invoice total. Shipping within U.S. only.
