AKAI GX-210D REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDER VERY NICE!!!

Up for sale is an AKAI GX-210D Reel To Reel Tape Recorder. This deck is basically the updated version of the X-201D with the long lasting, Glass and X'tal head system replacing the Cross-Field head system and an added Source/Tape switch. It is in excellent shape being a good 7.5 to 8 out of 10 due to some scuffs and and t The heads have been cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever! This deck records and plays back flawlessly! The auto reverse even works too! A new left spindle table has been installed as well! You can also use this deck to transfer old tapes to digital medium. The sound at 3 3/4 Inches Per Second speed is no different from the source you record from depending on the type of tape used and the sound at 7 1/2 Inches Per Second speed gives superb sound due to longer wavelength effect with a frequency response of 25,000 Hz! I've seen a lot of the AKAI 4000 model reel to reels on sell for over $200 and the quality of them are not as high as this one and don't have auto reverse and to get the 7 1/2 IPS speed, the speed sleeve capstans would be required which often get lost. This deck will change the speed with the simple flip of the switch! are a couple videos of the deck in operation to eliminate any doubts you may have (sound may be bassy due to camera quality):
