Up today is an Akai GX 77 tape deck in good overall conditon. This has been sitting for a while, I cleaned it up a bit and gave it a quick test. It seems to function as it should plays good through both channels I do believe however it needs switches cleaned as there are times the sound will fade out or get quiet a flip of some of the switches or a tap on the case and it is back to playing as it should. I just don't have time to mess with it anymore as I have to many projects going right now. Look at all pictures for condition, I took a couple of the meters and while it was running so you can see in the motion of the reels and drive wheel it is functioning. Another thing I need to point out is that a lot of the lettering is rubbed off in spots. I'm sure you can get a picture to help you out if you are not familiar with this deck. Since the unit is not functioning 100% as it should I will sell as parts or repair to be fair. I don't want someone thinking they are getting a pristine machine when this one is not. However I do believe with a little tinkering it will be a fine machine for someone. Paypal is due at auctions end. Thank You !
