Up for auction is a complete set of six Akira graphic novels published by Dark Horse Comics between December 2000 and March 2002. This is an amazing set of one of the most influential stories for Manga and science fiction in general.All these Akira graphic novels for auction are first edition, first printing.These graphic novels are from my personal collection. Each was read once then put in a bookshelf where is has remained until now. Each graphic novel is in what I would consider "like new" condition.The spines are all tight and without fold lines. I am not a comic book condition expert or grader, but I can easily see that this is how each book could have looked coming off the comic store shelf. All pages are crisp and clean without soiling or marking of any kind. Covers and edges are all in excellent condition.Only book 1 and 5 have very small bend marks at a couple of corners - Book one at lower right front and book 5 at front top and bottom right corners. The bends in the corners of book 5 are so slight that I couldn't even capture them in an image. Book 2 and book 3 have slight abrasions to the printed color along the spine. Book 2 towards the top thru the blue band of color and book 3 about an inch from the top thru the orange band of color. Book 1, 2, 6 have very slight whitening where the publisher scored a fold line for
