Offered in this lot is a fabulous collection of published artwork from famed caricaturist, Al Hirschfeld (1903-2003). Artwork includes The Marx Brothers in A Day at the Races, the cast of Broadway Rhythm, Judy Garland and Margaret O'Brien in Meet Me in St. Louis, Wallace Berry and Margaret O'Brien in Bad Cascomb, Red Skelton in The Show-Off, Mickey Rooney in Love Laughs at Andy Hardy, Laurel and Hardy in Swiss Miss; two page spreads from True to Life and Bob Hope and Jane Russell in The Paleface. Also included in this lot is the September 16, 1963 issue of Variety, which showcases the famously commissioned CBS weekly lineup, featuring shows like Mr. Ed, The Judy Garland Show, The Andy Griffith Show, Petticoat Junction, Rawhide, and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Unrestored artwork and publications that displays signs of use. May include edge and spine wear, creases, tears, minor stains, and pinholes.
