Hello Ebayers! Up for auction is a very RARE AL MAR 10TH ANNIVERSARY BOWIE KNIFE #29 of 200. I will be selling off a family members vintage Chris Reevs and AL MARS over the next few weeks - so please feel free to email me if you are looking for something or to discuss$$! - All knives are in my possession and I will handle the transaction. My feedback speaks for itself! If you are looking at this auction its because you know about Vintage AL MAR blades.. This is by far the rarest.. These bowies only came in a pre-production model and there where ONLY 200 made... It's as simple as that! This is the grail of AL MARS.. If you own a AL MAR Alaskin bowie then you have a"small" idea how it feels in your hands. I have never compared the weight of this knife vs a normal AL Mar Alaskin bowie, but I assure you this weighs atleast 30% heavier.. The TANG is FULL on both sides of the MICARTA.. This handle is a true COFFIN handle unlike the AL MAR Alaskin bowies(there where some Alaskins with a coffin but rare) .. Condition: Flawless for a 25+ year old knife. This was engraved by Mr. Robert Valade and I must say the pictures do not lie.. He engraved this knife in 1980's and his name is engraved on the gaurd with the date.Nothing negative to discuss about this knife or sheath.. There are a few scratches on the sheath but nothing to discuss ... read more
