"These blades are finished and ready for handles and assembly." Alabama Damascus Steel is hand forged in Jacksonville, AL with the aid of large air hammers. We use (4) layers of 5160 oil hardening high carbon, (3) layers 203E low carbon nickel steel, (3) layers of 52100, and (3) layers of 15N20. The steel is forged out and folded 5 times to give you 416 layers. Blade is guaranteed to be free from defects. And if found to be defective, buyer will get full refund if blade is returned within 14 days. Precision Ground. Laser Cut. Hollow Ground. Heat-treated to 58-60 Rc. Etched and ready for handles. Auction is for (1pc) - 0.141" Thick - P/N ADS0032-DKG - 416 Layer Pattern Damascus Knife Blank . Measures approx. 1" Wide Blade x 3-3/8" Long Blade Grind x 7-5/8" Tip to Back.
