This is an Aladdin lamp that stands 15" tall to the finial, ia 8" in diameter at the shade and 5.5" in diameter at the base . The base appears to be made of broze and has a hammered texture with red and dark green accents. The glass shade is mushroom shaped and made of frosted glass. It has four chips on the edge, three of which are smaller (1/4") and could likely be filed or ground smooth. The fourth edge chip (pictured) is 3/8" and likely could not be fixed. It is possible to orient the shade so only one small chip is visible. It is an old piece and has seen use. All pieces appear to be original. The socket has the Aladdin label. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING! Orders for less than $50 paid via personal check will also ship within 48 hours. Orders in excess of $50 paid via personal check from bidders with less than 100 feedbacks will ship once the check clears. 3. Our preferred method of shipment is USPS Priority Mail for domestic customers. For very small, non-breakable items we may recommend USPS First Class mail or Media mail. For very large and/or bulky items we may recommend alternative carriers. We will always work with the winning bidder to ship according to their specifications. If proper packing of an item or items requires an outer carton that exceeds USPS Priority Mail size limits for "Package or Thick Envelope" - and tby triggers a surcharge - we will reserve the right to substitute Parcal Post as the shipping method. 4. Within reason, we will work with multiple item bidders to ship as one order, and will hold winning bid items pending the outcome of later auctions. 5. For most breakable items we require the winning bidder purchase insurance. For other items considered "non-breakable" purchasing insurance is optional. If the winning bidder opts to not purchase insurance they are assuming responsiblity for any damage occuring in transit . We are considered to be very good at packing shipments as evidenced by our feedback. 6. For items being returned due to "buyer remorse" we will refund purchase price only once the returned item is received and inspected. The bidder returning the item is responsible for shipping costs both ways. 7. For items being returned due to misrepresentation in the listing - a rare event - we will refund purchase price and the original shipping costs once the returned item is received and inspected, the bidder returing the item to us must pay for the return shipping cost. 8. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE : we will gladly provide you with the estimated weight of the shipment in our listing, and work with the winning bidder to determine shipping cost based on their preferences.
