ALADDIN MANTLE OIL LAMP - LOT OF SIX (6) MISC. FOUNTS. All of these components were manufactured by THE MANTLE LAMP COMPANY OF AMERICA - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. For aid in describing the condition of the various components I have assigned a capital letter to each component and included an accompanying photograph for identification. Photograph A is a fount for a No. 9, 10, or 11 hanging lamp. I would judge the nickel over brass finish as fair to good with 2-3 very small dings. The drip plate is in place on the bottom of the fount. Photograph B is a fount for a Model B table lamp or hanging lamp. Appears to have had oxidized bronze finish applied over brass. Should clean up, however, significant dent is noted below chime and a couple of other small ding are evident. Model B burner shell and filler cap accompany this fount. Photograph C is a fount for a Model B table lamp or hanging lamp. Metal composition for this fount is very unusual. It is not the usual brass or copper (Non-magnetic) composition. Except for the filler cap and threaded burner collar ring the remaining portion is very magnetic. I would speculate manufacture occurred during the early 1940's. Present finish appears to be black. Photograph D is a fount for a Model 12 table lamp. Finish is oxidized bronze over brass. A number of small dings are noted on the fount. Someone
