ALADDIN OIL LAMP Interesting looking clear glass patterned lamp, 8 ½ inch high base with collar, not including the wire rack nor its globe, 5 ¼ inches in diameter at its widest point. Globe appears to be original to the lamp and is approx. 12 ½ inches tall thus, total height of lamp is 20 inches. We cleaned the congealed kerosene oil from the lamp base but chose not to attempt to clean the metal parts nor pull out the kerosene soaked wick. It appears that a small, cord like wick is to come through the collar base to provide light but unsure how that works. Nor do we know the purpose of the cross bar of metal with hanging wires from each side. Patent number shown in last picture. Condition appears to be good, could not detect any cracks, chips, flea bites, etc. Weight is approx. 2 1/2 lbs. and shipping will be $7.
