Aladdin Oil Lamp with Emerald Lincoln Drape base and Reproduction #9 Glass Shade. This is not an antique lamp (but it looks like one!); it is very much a working lamp with enough back-up parts to keep it burning brightly for a lifetime! The patented Aladdin mantle is equivalent to a 60 watt light bulb. This lamp was purchased in the spring of 1999 and has seen very little use. The Emerald green Lincoln Drape base is a classic design and was first created in 1939. The frosted glass "Reproduction #9" shade looks great whether the lamp is lit or not; however, when the lamp is burning, it provides a pleasant, diffuse light. The tripod ring can also be removed and the lamp can be used without the shade if desired. These lamps can burn up to 12 hours and are a great back-up if the power goes out. This lamp is over 24" high and about 6" wide with the shade. All parts are in excellent condition and t are no chips or defects in the glass base or shade. I doubt if the current mantle will survive shipping, so perhaps the list below should show 11-mantles. The following pieces are included: 1 - Aladdin Oil Lamp base with burner and "heel-less" Aladdin chimney1 - Reproduction #9 glass shade1 - 10" Brass tripod ring for shade12 - Aladdin Mantles "Lox-On" style1 - Wick raiser2 - Wick cleaner tools1 - Aladdin brass gallery adapter1 - (extra) read more
