I invite you to bid on this beautiful walrus ivory White swan pin, hand-carved by Inupiaq Alaska Native Robert B. Kokuluk from King Island, AK. The piece is signed by Mr. Kokuluk. The pin is 1 3/4" high, and 1 3/16" at its widest point. It weighs 3.6 grams. This piece, as well as others I am selling on eBay were purchased at the Native Alaska Medical Center Craft Shop, a wonderful shop in Anchorage w the artists, I am told, receive 80% of the selling price of the items. The shop is run by the Medical Center Auxiliary, who use their profits to give scholarships to Native students. I have found it one of the best places to purchase authentic pieces. Although my starting price is higher due the quality of the craftmanship (although not as high as the price I paid for it), t is NO RESERVE on this item! Please note that it is illegal to ship native-made items outside of the US, and so I am not accepting international bids. I guarantee my descriptions of items to be accurate, in so far as I am knowledgeable about the items. I don't claim to be an expert in any area of collectibles.
