This truely is an outstanding little collection of 4 different carved seals. All have been scrimshawed and carved from different aged walrus ivory. The sizes vary a little, from 2 5/8" long X 7/8" wide, 2 1/4" long X 7/8" wide, 1 3/4" X 1" wide, 1 3/4"X 5/7" wide. All 4 are in excellent shape with no chips or damage on them. You will really enjoy this outstanding group. This is another part of the collection that my parents purchased while they lived in the Territory of Alaska for 10 years through the 1950s before Alaskan Statehood. Please continue to watch for other interesting walrus ivory items and some Basketry,all the items will be offered up For Sale. This 4 Seal group is sold "As Is" with no disernable signatures noted on the pieces. All Ivory items were purchased and collected by family prior to Alaskan Staehood. All returned items must be prepaid insured shipping via USPS or UPS. All shipping costs are non refundable.
