I have for auction a very unusual open face pocket watch. It is not in working condition, but if you are a serious militaria collector, this watch will fascinate you. The first picture shows the face of the watch which has numerals from 1-12, minute/second lines, and hour numerals.. It is lever set. The second picture shows the back cover which depicts an engraved face of Albert I Roi- de s Belgique. The next picture shows the writing on the bottom of the back cover which reads "Honneur A La Belgique" The rest of the back cover is beautifully engraved. BUT THE MOST FASCINATING INTEREST OF THIS WATCH IS THE INSIDE BACK COVER. It depicts one solder with a gun and 2 solders kneeling down pointing guns. It is engraved "Souvenir de la Guerre" with the date 1914 on the bottom. It is definitely all authentic and I would venture to say near to one of a kind. It is not in great condition but everything is clearly visible and considering it's age, we can't expect much better. I will start the bidding at $10.00 and I'm sure t is a militaria collector out t who would treasure this item. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have a 7 day return privilege as long as it is in it's original condition. I accept money orders and Paypal.
