This signed work depicts a lady outside her cottage preparing some food in a bowl - a typical subject for the artist but with the added charm of the dog jumping up trying to eat some of the food and a lovely cat about to rub itself against the ladies leg. This is a charming painting in SENSATIONAL ORIGINAL condition - probably painted around 1880.
