Thisis an original monochrome watercolour of a famous view of Robin Hood’s bay , painted by the Victorian artist, Albert Strange , originally exhibited between 1882 and 1897 . It is signed with a recognisable monogram used by this artist and has more recently been beautifully mounted and framed for Osborne Fine Art Gallery. The painting is ready to hang . Overall frame size: approx. 16” x 13.5” (41 x 35cm) Size of image: approx. 9.75 x 6.75” (24.5 x 17cm) Albert Strange (1855-1917): The artist lived in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and taught at Scarborough School of Art. He has exhibited amongst other places at the Walker Gallery, Liverpool and at the Royal Academy . Albert was a highly accomplished artist, designer and writer. He had a lifelong career in art, exhibiting many times at the Royal Academy .
