Dona often names his vases after beautiful women. The "Gina" teardrop vase is no exception. Influenced by round fluid forms his work often speaks for itself. From the front, side or back this vase is truely exceptional.(Pictures 1-4) show views of the entire piece (Picture 5) shows the bottom hand inscribed signature Alberto Dona, Venezia 2003. Notice the hand hammered portion of the glass (Pictures 1 & 2) which adds another dimension to this beautiful work of art. Complete Alberto Dona bio below. The Xtra Large Teardrop Vase measures 22" tall x 11" wide x 5" deep. This Vase is in MINT condition and was bought new in 2003.
