This is an 8 3/8"diameter, 2" high, 3-D Alabaster Adoration Of The Magi, by Master Alberto Santangela, first edition; No. BA6769, first issue in the Ghiberti Doors Series of collector plates faithfully copied by hand alone from the Florence Baptistery North Doors, originally completed in 1424 AD by Lorenzo Ghiberti. Hand-cast and finished in ivory alabaster in Tuscany, Italy under the hallmark of Studio Dante di Volteradici and the auspices of the Museo del Duomo of Florence, Italy. It is an ivory color with raised figurines. It weighs a little under 3 lbs. It has a wire ring on the back for wall hanging. Item is in great condition and still in original box.
