Album sheet 5 photos, Samoa, South Seas, 1880s Description A album page with five albumen photographs of Samoa, South Pacific , depicting coral on a reef, a native hut under construction, a native village and two views of waterfalls, by Thomas Andrew, 1880s, mm x mm approx, many images signed and titled in the negative, with ink titles underneath to mount, uniform tones, with occasional creasing, slightly brittle mount. Thomas Andrew was a New Zealand photographer who luved in Samoa from 1891. He died in Apia, Samoa, in 1939.
