Alcock Scinde Flow Blue Rectangular Bowl Gravy Boat measures 11 7/8" X 9 1/4" and 2 3/4" deep.Condition - There is an imperfectio in the glaze on the interior of the bowl and a ridge around the rim that could indicate that there was once a lid. Other than that, it is in excellent shape, with no chips, cracks or crazing. This china is over 100 years old and does show some light signs of use, although, overall, it is really in fine condition, particularly given it's age. You might also find some of the typical imperfection common to flow blue pieces, such as stilt marks for example. Provenance; We recently purchased an enormous set of flow blue china from a Philadelphia area estate, comprised mostly of Scinde pieces.
