Alcoholics Anonymous 1st Edition 16th Printing 1954 AA Publishing Inc. This auction includes a REPRODUCTION dust jacket. The jacket is protected in a Brodart, acid-free, archival cover. NOTE: T IS A SMOKER IN MY HOME - IF YOU CAN'T TOLERATE THE SMELL OF CIGARETTE SMOKE ON THIS ITEM, DO NOT BID ON IT! A nice, clean copy of the last edition of the Big Book to be published before the Second Edition was released in 1955. The first blank page has an inked signature and one is crossed-out. T is very light pencil underlining on page 10, the sentence, “I was so lonely,” is noted. T are also light red pencil markings on pages 15, 16, and 17. Pages 102 and 383 are dog-eared on a corner. The pages are age-yellowed as you would expect for a nearly 57 year-old book. T are a few lightly-foxed pages. T is a small (half-inch) slit through the spine of the in-page (see photo). The foil on the spine is heavily rubbed and is 95% gone (see photo).
