Provenance: Private collection, Providence, Rhode Island.
Notes: A.J. Daiwaille's notations on the reverse of the painting states it was painted on June 6, 1875. The landscape was painted by A.J. Daiwaille and the figures and animals were painted by Eugene Verboeckhoven.
