Alexander Ovechkin game worn rookie Washington Capitals helmet. This helmet was purchased directly from the Capitals and comes with their COA and #d Hologram. The Capitals and NHL stickers have been removed, which is common for insurance reasons (so the capitals say) but Ovechkins #8 remains. This is a rare CCM rookie helmet of Ovechkins. I have only seen a couple authentic Ovechkin helmets since hes come into the league. The 2004 manufacturer sticker also remains, this helmet was worn his rookie season 2005-2006 after the NHL lockout in 2004-05. Please email me with any questions. I will sell this to the highest bidder, i had never planned on selling this item so I hope it goes to a good home. Also see my other Capitals and Redskins game worn items. FYI the retail stickers will not cover the TACKS logo, he could have also worn this helmet during practice.
