Alexandra Nechita Irreplaceable II - 2005 Print - Lithograph 21'' x 26'' Edition: signed in pencil and marked 3/25 AP Image Size: 17.75" x 13.75" Framed with Linen wrapped mat and Plexi-glass. Excellent condition Alexandra, dubbed "petite Picasso," works in the cubist modes of Picasso and Braque, but with an emphasis on "magical symbolism." She attracted the attention of art critics and the media who began telling the world about this rarest of child prodigies - an artist who had mastered drawing and color, an artist who had created a visual language of her own, in a unique, lyrical, figurative, abstract cubist manner, an artist who had only recently turned nine years old. Alexandra has synthesized an encyclopedia of other 20th Century modernist styles - Surrealism to Expressionism - in original works which can range up to eight feet tall.
