[Alfred Hitchcock] – Original Architectural Set Drawingfrom the 1966 Hitchcock Film "Torn Curtain” Universal, 1966. Original Architectural Set Drawing from the Alfred Hitchcock Film "Torn Curtain”. Rendered in pencil on onionskin, folded numerous times, highly detailed professional architectural drawing from a set from the film, specifically labeled dated 1965 when the film was in pre-production, with copious notes, exact measurements, and other specifications about every last detail; amazing to see the exhaustive amount of work that went into creating each set of this thriller by the master, Alfred Hitchcock, which starred Paul Newman and Julie Andrews. NOTE: Hitchcock was obsessed with the detailed architecture of his films and most likely reviewed this drawing beforehand. There is a book out entitled " THE WRONG HOUSE: THE ARCHITECTURE OF ALFRED HITCHCOCK", which discusses the architecture of most of his films. Approximately: At least 3 feet by 2 feet wide.
