Alice In Wonderland" Porcelain Figurine VERY RARE! This"Alice In Wonderland" figurine is from my personal private collection and I am offering it for the first time as I begin to think about retirement..... This piece was first offered TWENTY FOUR years ago (see accompanying photo)! The figurine is as perfect as the day it was purchased. It comes with ALL original packaging and the original box with the label still on the side. The figurine depicts Alice with Cheshire Cat and the rabbit underneath a tree. The tree has raised particles on it to help accent the leaves...very delicate! It also has particles to help portray the grass, and raised individual flowers. It is in "mint" condition....perfect in every way! The figurine is 'bisque' porcelain and the colors on it are perfect. T is absolutely no fading. The figurine measures 8 inches high by 4 1/2 inches wide at the base. The piece was purchased in what was known back then as "The Character Shop" in Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World in Florida. If you are a follower of Disney animated features, you know t aren't a lot of collectible items made available on a regular basis for "Alice". Aside from the WDCC, I know of only one or two other items made even in recent years. This particular piece was purchased twenty four years ago. It was offered long before the proliferation of "limited edition" items from Disney saturated the marketplace. It is quite rare today! It is perfect in every detail and for collectors of "Alice" or vintage Disney porcelain items, you won't a find nicer piece. Candidly, it was hard for me to make the decision to part with this figurine. It was one of the first items ever purchased for my collection. After all these years, I still have it protected in the original packaging. All my pieces are part of my private collection (I am not a dealer) and have been lovingly cared for since the time of purchase. I simply will not offer anything that is not of the highest quality.
