2 DOLLARS SILVER COIN - ALICE IN WONDERLAND - LUNAR YEAR RABBIT - PITCAIRN ISLANDS 2011 ALICE IN WONDERLAND - RABBIT VERY BEAUTIFUL AND ORIGINAL DESIGN AND COIN CASE This "fantastic" and lucky coin is issued to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit which begins on February 3, 2011 and ends on January 22, 2012, according to the Chinese Lunar-Zodiac. This 2011 The coin is issued by struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver and is legal tender of the Government of Pitcairn Island. On the coin's reverse is a stylized a full colour image of the white rabbit created from the original illustrations in the Alice in Wonderland book. Surrounded by an engraved clock which goes backwards as time goes back in wonderland. On the obverse the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II sovereign of the commonwealth of the Pitcairn Islands .
