This is the first in the series and it is a wonderful source for anything about silk. It is very comprehensive and each type of silk has a real swatch of fabric to help illustrate. THE FINE PRINT After payment is made, I will have an e- sent with the USPS delivery information (Delivery Confirmation Number, date of dispatch, etc.) which is separate from the e- Paypal sends. You will receive notice that your item has been posted and then another when delivery is made. If you do not receive the first, please check your spam blocker for messages from The USPS Postal Service. One ebayer apparently did not receive any notice and waited a month before contacting me saying he had not received his item. As it happened, the delivery was made but the item was stolen from his mailbox. If he had realized that he could track the package, he could have followed it and seen that it was on route and then that it had been delivered. In addition, he did not have insurance on the item. Insured packages most often require a signature and that is added protection for safe delivery. I usually have insurance as an option but if the item is of value, I strongly recommend it. I will not be responsible once the item is posted for loss or breakage in transit. I do pack very well but it can be a rough journey to your house. Occasionally, I do require insurance. I am fair with shipping. If it is costly to ship to you, that is USPS or whatever other carrier I use, not me. All this is for US sales only. International shipments are another matter altogether. Foreign bidders : Foreign deliveries have become very problematic and I cannot make any guarantees on safe delivery. International shipping has also become very expensive. At this point, I will only ship via USPS Global Priority International Mail with no insurance and will not ship to countries that do not accept GPIM deliveries. Please check or e-me first to see if I can ship to you. Also, I will not ship an item to a country that has restrictions on that item. Check your country's customs regulations. Do not bid automatically and assume I will make it all right. In most cases, I will combine shipping charges for multiple auction wins to save you money. I am very fast in getting your items out to you. I know you are eager to receive them. Unless t are extenuating circumstances, they will be on their way to you the next day after payment is received unless that day is Sunday. I no longer automatically leave feedback but will upon knowing that you are pleased with your item in the form of feedback from you.
