Offering for bid, we have a Wonderful Antique "ALL ORIGINAL " SETH THOMAS Sentinel #7 Tambour Mantel Clock. This is a Mahogany Cased Mantle Clock that announces the Hour & 1/2 Hour on a single Brass Horizontal Rod. This clock is an 8-Day No. 89 Pendulum Movement with a Beautiful 5 inch " ALL ORIGINAL " Silver Dial. The height is 9 1/4 inches, 19 1/2 inches wide & 6 inches deep. PLEASE NOTE... This is a COMPLETELY ORIGINAL CLOCK!!! IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED, RESTORED or REFINISHED IN ANY WAY !!! It is a true SETH THOMAS ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK, GUARENTEED and is listed on Page 696 Volume 2 of "SETH THOMAS CLOCKS & MOVEMENTS" by Tran Duy Ly. (Please See Photo) This FANTASTIC old time piece was made in the early 1900's. The 8 day time/strike movement is signed with the Seth Thomas Logo "ST" and the number 89. This movement runs and keeps EXCELLENT TIME. It comes with the ORIGINAL pendulum and a marked "SETH THOMAS" key. This old boy strikes the hour and half hour on a SUPER sounding cathedral rod that resonates nicely and is very pleasing to the ear. It has the "ORIGINAL BEZEL & GLASS". The case has been completely cleaned and polished with a coat of paste wax. The case has its "Original Finish" which is very much intact with a few wear spots on the edges of the base.
