This auction is for a sheath on the style of the one pictured. I made the sheath this week for a recent auction winner. It is burgandy Latigo leather with a black ostrich inlay. Then the style is different than I had ever made, but it works nice for a inlay sheath. I see the trick is to get the band around the sheath fairly tight so it doesn't slip up and to use good quality hard leather with a lot of body. The Latigo can't be tooled. The sheath will be for up to a 6" blade. The buyer can supply a leather or material for inlay or just request plain or tooled leather, the sheath doesn't have to be Latigo. The way this auction works is the buyer will send their knife to me for a custom made and fitted sheath on the style of the one pictured, but with special instructions or specifications the buyer decides. The custom made sheath can be of different color or type of leather, etc. The buyer pays only the auction price and their cost of mailing their knife. I will pay the return postage plus insurance if the knife was insured on sending to me. I do limit the auction to continental US. Also, I do make sure the buyer is pleased with the sheath I make. I take a lot of time to make sure they're right and I do throw a few in the wood stove that just go wrong. It happens once in awhile. I brag about my work enough that I just can't send out anything that's not my best. This will be an honest auction. Please feel free to contact me.
