This is a Planimeter made by Allbrit , it dates from the 1950's. Planimeters are used for the measurement of areas from plans or maps. The set is complete and includes checking rule and magnifier. Inside the lid is a setting table specific to this instrument. It is Instrument No. 36454. This is in excellent condition in a purpose made Bakelite box. It is complete with original instruction booklet. The box is undamaged but does have a dymo label with 'Planimeter' stuck on the lid.
