This is a great, working, all tube receiver. The tube phono pre-amp is worth the price of admission! Don't spend big money on a fancy-schmancy all-tube phono pre-amp without giving this a whirl! And, as if that isn't enough, if you're looking for a tubed headphone amp, look no further! It doesn't get much better than this! This item looks great! T are a a couple of shallow dents on the top of the walnut case (visible in pix). This item is not "factory reconditioned" or a "refurb." This item will ship FedEx ground at the UPS ground rate listed. We strongly urge an upgrade from FedEx ground. Rates available after purchase only. The pictures shown in this listing are pictures of the exact item you will receive. This is a great old Allied unit that would make a perfect preamp for your turntable. The receiver portion works perfectly bringing in lots of both AM & FM stations. Rated at ~35 watts, the power section puts out a lot of power because the rating is RMS and not total power. During testing, it drove a pair of Bose speakers to ear hurting levels! Walnut case is in fine condition with just a few shallow dents on top. This item has been completely tested & all functions perform as designed. Tuning (Magic) Eye works, the FM Stereo signal light works & both panel lights are operational. All control pots have been cleaned.
