This is a wonderful very old match tin. It is in good condition with the typical wear patterns you see on graniteware. The lid works well, and there are nicks but nothing goes all the way through. These charming little tins are hung on the wall and are to be loaded with stick matches. They were very handy at a time before match books were made. At that time most gas stoves needed to be lite with a match, so they were most often located in the kitchen. It has a simple design to go with most decors. It is white with blue details.
