This is a beautiful and rare Italian Ceramic Alter Statue of Saint Francis (I believe). This was made by and signed Professor Eugenio Pattarino. Made in Florence, Italy around 1950's to early 1960's. These items are becoming increasingly rare because the famous Italian ceramicist's studio was destroyed in the great flood of Florence in the late 1960's. The statue measures 13" tall. Wire hanger inside to hang. The condition is excellent with a very small nick (highlighted) in the photos. This paint flake is on the underside of the sandal of the right foot of the statue. This does not look like it is missing clay just the paint. Other than that t are no other damages, chips, cracks or repairs. You won't be disappointed with this item. Over the next few months I am listing Lenci's from Italy, Pattarino's from Italy, Goebel and Hummel's from Germany, Glass ware, Pottery, Rare and hard to find items.
