Up for sale is a vintage Altec Lansing Tube power amp, model 1568A with 1569A front cover on it (I don't know why). Maximum power output is 50 watts. It uses 2-6CA7 (EL34), 1-5U4, and 2-6CG7 tubes. It has an RCA input plus a screw terminal strip input. The speaker output is a screw terminal strip that has ground, minus, 4ohm, 8ohm, 16ohm (25volt), and 124ohm (70volt) The two Power caps have had the fiber holder board cracked and have been glued to hold the caps in place. One has been taped up with electrical tape. (See last pic). The amp has been bench tested for over 30 hours and still running fine. In researching the tubes I found this about the Pro-Comm tube that's included: "The 6CA7 is a hard-vacuum version of the EL34, offering greater reliability. Some of the most reliable units ever produced came from Pro-Comm Industrial, Korea.
