THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SINGLE UNIT> I HAVE A TOTAL OF 26 AVAILABLE! The 1000watt 6" fresnel from Altman has long been the standard professional fresnel light found in professional theaters across the world. This is not the cheaper sheet metal Altman 65Q but a full cast body. These lighting fixtures are 100% functional and ready to use when they leave (cannot guarantee the lamp in shipping but it will work when it leaves). These items come complete with:1KAF-MBP - 6" 1000w Cast Body Fresnel (I have 26 units in this auction. 24 are the MBP version and 2 are the MPF version)C-Clamp to hangGel Frame2P&G/ Stage Pin plug (can easily be changed if you are pluging into a household(edison) style plug or using twist lock by the buyer)These originally sold for about $390 each for the fresnel, $10 for the C-Clamp, and another $8 for the Stage pin plug which then had to be installed. These are great units. Fresnels give a soft edge light that can be via a lever on the rear of the fixture put in spot or flood or anyw in between. Great for theaters, churches, photographers, TV or video Studios. These specific lights (I have 26units) have been used gently in a performing arts center for the last 8 years. Altman makes 2 types. The 1KAF-MBP and the 1KAF-MPF. The difference is that they use a different type of lamp. The MBP (Medium Bi Post) uses an EGT 1000w lamp but can also use a 750watt or 500watt. The MPF version uses a BTR 1000w lamp. The MBP version I have 24 units for sale and the MPF I have 2 units for sale. First come first serve.I have 26 of these. The reason I am selling is that I have about 50 of the one style and 26 of the other. I just purchased another 26 new of the style I have more of so they all match. These have been professionally maintained and will work 100% when they ship to you. These are used and have some typical tape residue and scratches but they are ready to get to work. These lights have been faithful, robust, and will be working for some lucky buyer many years from now.You can take a look at them on the Altman lighting website. Select "products" and then "fresnels" and scroll to look at them. Various accessories can be purchased from any Altman dealer. These are current models and are still totally available and supported. is what Altman has to say:A basic set lighting device for stage, studio and television; the 1KAF produces a soft edged beam which varies in diameter from 5.7 feet to 39 feet at a throw distance of 25 feet. The 1KAF is designed for operation with long life, high intensity, tungsten halogen lamps, with either medium bi-post or prefocus bases. The luminaire is used in theatre for acting area lighting w beam shaping is not required, or in the studio as a key-light or back-light when a smooth even beam is required. Constructed of cast aluminum and designed to withstand trouping, the 1KAF is also used in nightclubs, museums and show rooms w high intensity, soft edged controlled lighting is requiredI will pack for shipping well to minimize damage that could occur with UPS. I have not had any issues with shipping in the past as I pack things well. I can sell you one or up to twenty-six as the supply lasts. You will notice that some small variations between units can be seen in the pictures. Some of the yokes are silver and some are black.
