You are bidding on a vintage STYLE of an Alvis Hare Car Mascot/Hood Ornament Reproduction . Vintage Alvis cars were fitted with the Alvis Hare mascot asoriginal equipment manufactured by A E Lejeune. The hare was chosen as it portrayed lightness, strength and speed. It is believed that there were three designs of hare, this is styled after the "small pawed" hare. It's made from bronze.
