Up for bid is a Authentic Reproduction of a Old Time Favorite Cast Iron Mechanical Bank It's Called The "ALWAYS DID SPISE A MULE BANK". It depicts a frustrated man attempting to ride a rather stubborn Mule. The way it works is : You place a coin in the man's mouth, Then you push down on the metal lever, located just in front of the Mule's left hoof. As you push the lever down, the Mule jumps up quickly , bucking the man off. The man's head hits the ground, dropping the coin into the bank below. Coins can be retrieved through the coin plug on the bottom of the Bank. It measures 9-7/8 inches long by 8 inches high. The base measures close to 3 inches wide at its widest part. This Bank has been well cared for over the years, and is in "Excellent Condition" All of its Mechanical Parts work Perfectly. Stamped on the bottom are the words " CLASSIC IRON". This is a heavy item, due to its Solid Cast Iron. Weighs a little over 3-1/2 pounds. Your shipping cost for this Bank is $10.60, which includes delivery confirmation.(insurance is optional).
