We are handling the art portfolio/estate of the late Amalia Ferri (East Longmeadow MA), b1908 d1998. She was a student at the Springfield Art School and studied under listed artists Marion Huse and Adolph Aldrich. Ms Ferri worked in many mediums all with a regionalist/expressionist flare. Although she did study under these two listed artists she did develop her own style. This is an oil on paper, still life with bread. Vibrant colors and textures showing a kitchen table with chair, storage container, bread, teacup and spoon. Image is approx 20x24", housed in original frame. Marked on reverse oil on paper by Amalia N Ferri at Springfield Art School main st springfield, under marion huse 1935. Very small "hidden" signature on tablecloth. Please contact our gallery on other works of art by Amalia Ferri.
