The hull is solid pine, and many other wooden parts are pre-cut birch. The superstructure is a modeler's delight with its pilot house, cabins, machine turned smokestacks and boilers. A sheet of photo-etched brass parts gives your model eye-catching precision and detail. White metal windows, doors paddlewheels, lifeboats and anchors are included, and t's a generous supply of brass and copper fittings. Deck and cabin walls are planed in walnut and basswood. Six giant sheets of plans plus an instruction manual make building easy. (Display base and pedestals shown in photo are not included.) The finished model is 23-1/2" long and 11" high in 1:150 scale.
