Amazing antique Victorian 1800's 18K solid yellow gold Etruscan Byzantine earrings. Exceptional hand made earrings in solid 18k gold, circa 1800's are a large size measuring 2 1/4 inches long to top of ear wire, 2 1/8 inches long for the earring alone, and slightly over 1 inch wide, weighing a solid16 grams of gold. They both test for 18k solid gold including the hook ear wires. They have the lovely Etruscan Byzantine style of 'granulation', tiny gold beads forming the designs on the earrings, as well as scalloping edges and other fancy trims. They are masterly made and are in excellent antique condition, not perfect but close to it with very few imperfections considering how old these are. Rare and unusual earrings for your collection of antique jewelry. I provided many photos in daylight so you can see these earrings at all angles and on the ear. I doubt you will ever see another pair like these. In person the gold has even more 18k yellow gold color than the photos show and are more lovely. It is hard to put a value on these rarities, but I am s tarting low with No Reserve! This will be shipped in a velvet gift box and fully insured.
