Take a moment and get a look at one of the most fabulous cuckoo clocks we have had the pleasure to offer for auction in some time!! We were lucky to acquire it from a high end private estate in the South of Germany near the Black Forest!This fantastic cuckoo clock of 26 Inches tall is made of the finest birch wood and has a gorgeous patina.This black forest cuckoo clock dates from the second quarter of the 20th C. (c. 1940).The dimensions are: Height: 26 Inches(without weights),Width: 16 Inches and Depth: 11 Inches.This is a very nice cuckoo clock for the collector or someone wanting an unusual cuckoo that no one else has!!Every half and full hour the clock chimes on a gong while a cuckoo coming out the little door.This fantastic cuckoo clock has a 30 hours movement,driving by two cast iron pinecones, and is in fine working order.The clock is carved with leaves,a rabbit,a pheasant, a hunting horn,a hunting bag and on the top a deer head with antlers.The moment you hear that distinctive call as the cuckoo pops out of the little door in the carved wood, you will be transported back to a time of great clock making in the Black Forest.Regarding shipping we will pack the clock in a wooden box so you will receive it without any damage.
