For your consideration is an AMAZING Early Czech MAJOLICA CHERUB Flower BASKET VASE! Vase measure about 7.75" tall x about 6" wide at its widest and about 7" deep. Vase is marked on the base with the earlier "Made in Czecho-Slovac" under the glaze mark and the inventory/piece number (impressed) "1480" and "5"...see picture. The condition of vase is well above average with only a few tiny chips/flea-bites to a couple of the flower blossom petals...typical on these pieces. They are really tough to find and nearly impossible to see when the piece is on display. T are no cracks, crazing or repairs. A truly REMARKABLE survival for a piece as delicate as this! I've NEVER seen a piece of Majolica with delicate floral work as this one without really extensive damage...as you collectors well know! A really superior piece in every way!
