An absolute masterpiece in exceptional condition, this figural linen and lace runner from a wealthy old Boston family estate displays like textile art! It is off white with the finest quality linen center ~ framed in flora, fauna, urns, Goddesses, Puti and Satyr the Goat man. This lace is known as Schiffli and is revered for the intricate detail and often feautures mythical/figural subjects. It is in superb condition with a few minute single bride breaks that are unnoticeable due to the complexity of the lace. It measure 19-1/2x39" and I have gently soaked and pressed it to insure it is clean so it is ready to use and a lovely rare find for the most discriminating collector. All items I sell are in ready to use condition and any flaws will be clearly stated.I take great care in my selection and preparation for sale so I am confident you will be pleased with the items I offer. I always presoak, launder and press all items so I know the exact condition and reflect that in my listings. NO SURPRISES!!!
