This is a truly unique antique. This display case is English Art Deco from the mid to late 1930s. Its is a half circle design and its dimensions are: 48 inches tall, 36 inches wide, and 13 inches deep. Unlike most other display cabinet though the two "door" on this do not open by swinging out on hinges, but slide alongside the glass that is t, going into the cabinet. The left side door slide behind the glass on the far left side, and the right side door slide behind the far right side glass.(See the photos of the track the doors slide on) It is as unique as it beautiful. I have always been a big fan of DECO and when I came across this beauty almost 5 years ago I scooped it up. But now I have to sell some items and this has to go. It is in wonderful shape. It is rock solid with absolutely no structural defects at all, save for the small Ivory knobs keep coming off (a very easy fix I never got around too). The wood is nearly perfect with very tiny and easily covered scratches maybe 3 or 4 very small ones under an inch or so (minor minor minor)! The back of the cabinet is a mirror and the two shelves are clear glass; adding a light would be a simple matter. The Depression glass inside is NOT included but you could have them for an additional $100.00. It is several mixed sets of plates and goblets, I bought them just for something to put in the cabinet and don't know much about Depression glass. The Silver items are top and the butterfly wing plate is not included. Shipping of this item would be completely up to the winner. I will do everything I can to help but you must get a shipper and do all the arranging. I will make myself available on my end for them in any way I can. Local pick up is encouraged of course! I will start the bidding on this at $50.00! I know if I could bring it to New York City, I could sell it off the back of my truck for $1500.00 in less then half a hour, I don't want to make the trip. So you can get it for the whatever it sells for. PayPal only will be accepted on this item unless you contact before the end of the auction for a different form of payment! Payment must be recieved within 3 day of the end of the auction! Happy bidding!
