Hello and Welcome! I'm sure that many of you reading this were present in my last auction series and I thank you kindly for returning. I feel I that I had very positive results in that recent series and that was reflected in many great feedback comments. Now as always I feel a sense of loyalty to my bidders and buyers and watchers, and my goal is to continue to sell comics in an honest way, to offer high quality and exciting books, accurate grading, prompt delivery, and a high level of communication throughout! ---One fellow out of 35 was displeased with the grading assessment I gave in the last series, and he negged me prior to contact. The end result of that incident was that after I contacted him, he apologized for doing so, we agreed to mutually withdraw the negatives, and I gave him a full refund including shipping and let him keep the book on top of that! So please-while I never intentionally overgrade or misrepresent any item, please remember that I am a human being and as such can make a mistake. I know its shocking-but yes, it is possible. So, as a winning bidder, please remember that the best thing to do if unhappy with one of my books is to first contact me. I will respond quickly, responsibly and with fairness to any valid issue or concern. However, the goal of this auction series is definately to improve on past performance and get a 100% happiness quota!!My grading abilities come from a general awareness of industry standards coupled with having handled and assessed hundreds and hundreds or thousands of comic books over the past five years. Given the fact that it is commonly accepted that even professional graders can vary within a grade of each other on the same book, I feel more than qualified to find that space within the appropriate margin. In doing so, I'm checking any seller bias at the door. It is more important to me that my buyers feel happy with what they recieve than making a couple of extra dollars on a book that I feel may have been liberally graded by half a step. Why? Because I'm honest, believe in treating people as I would be treated, and also want all my happy customers to come back in future auctions! Great comic auctions need a high level of disclosure of information in terms of pictures and honest descriptions, and that is really my bottom line. Who hasn't seen a comic book at a distance in an auction photo and then been flabergasted upon reciept of the actual product? From four feet away, in a picture taken by a digital camera and not a scanner, a Fine book can look like a NM book. So, if I'm offering an expensive book for sale, you can bet I'm going to be paying the little bit extra for supersize pictures of scanned books, so you can see the product up close . High resolution pictures on rear and front do not lie. Also, great comic sellers don't tell 90% of the truth and keep 10% to themselves-they tell the whole thing!!!! A book can have no rips or tears and lay flat but still have creasing or any number of other problems in an area not shown by the seller. To intentionally tell half the truth is just another form of deception....For USA-I'm changing my shipping to standard UPS ground with tracking. All in all I feel that it offers the best combination between price and security. Generally, for a single book, the price on UPS ground varies between eight and eleven dollars. Insurance is included up to 100$ on all packages, and costs 1.50$ per hundred after that. So, if you want and need to insure beyond 100$, please add the appropriate amount in the insurance option. Obviously, for 50 books shipping is going to be a little bit more. Please note that I pack well and smart. I pack so that no damage can possibly come to your book during the shipping process, but also so that it is highly unlikely that you yourself will damage the item in the process of opening the package. I make it hard to open your package at the outer layer, but easy to open it once you get close to the books. In this series I've got some really cool stuff coming your way. ...
