This is a simply beautiful older piece! This is either a sterling silver, or white gold pendant, six pointed star shape, with a floating genuine diamond inside a clear wall of lucite? or similar magical substance! It is old, now, mind, and t are 3 different hallmarks which are worn and hard to make out! But, I paid 'big bucks' for the pendant, and have put it on a 14 karat fine link white gold chain, and it looks swell! Let's get the specs done first, then we'll go over the hallmarks..one looks like 'tiffany' or tfnny? the pendant is 3/4" across. ( The metal is either fine silver, sterling or higher, or white gold)...and this pendant is thick and substantial, at over 1/8" thick ( 4 mm). Inside the thick-walled silver star is a genuine brilliant cut diamond, which sparkles like...a star! A star within a star! neat-o! :) The chain is 18" long, and marked '585' on the spring ring ( which is European for 14 karat) I had to have the clasp part replaced, and the jeweler put one on that is marked '10 k', but the chain itself is 14 karat white gold! This fine piece of exquisite jewelry weighs 3.5 grams.
The marks on the pendant, which is a slide, by the way, with a sturdy bale atop, adding to the length for a total of 1" length, (3/4" width), are three fold. On one side, t are what appear to be ' HW ?'or '33'?...then the 'TFFNY' on another side of the bale, then another mark , what appears to be 'SRg' or 'CRG' on top of th bale! These are all worn somewhat, as if this might be an antique piece.. perhaps from the 20's...when was lucite invented? Anyhow, this is a high quality fine old pendant , with a 14 karat white gold necklace... so please bid accordingly!
