This is a very nice shaped, large specimen of Canyon Diablo meteorite that weighs 586 grams, or about 1 1/4 pounds. This fantastic piece has a nice, unusual shape to it with several nice curves and points. The overall character of this piece is fantastic. It is a very solid and stable piece and is already cleaned for you. The size in centimeters for this specimen at it's widest points is 11.5 x 8 x 4. This piece would make a stunning centerpiece to anyone's collection! This one is a rarity, don't let it pass you by! This specimen is a 100% guaranteed iron meteorite from the Barringer Meteor Crater near Winslow, Arizona, United States. The specific composition of the Canyon Diablo Meteorite, is as follows: .92% iron, .07% nickel and .005% cobalt with trace amounts of Gallium, Germanium, Iridium and Platinum.
