Hi, my name is Rita Meese and I am the artist at "Little Darlins" Nursery. I have been making dolls for many years, and I take time with each baby to "bring it to life". Every one of my "Little Darlins" is a true one of a kind.

Franny started out as a Berenguer doll from Spain. This is an extremely rare doll, VERY hard to find, and has been discontinued. This is the only one I have ever had!! She has the cutest little upturned nose and open mouth smile!! I carefully disassembled her and removed all her factory paint. She was given a nice warm bubblebath to remove any residue. Then the fun began.

Many hours were spent getting this little girls complexion just right. She has subtle veining, and blushing in all the right places. This was done with Genesis heat set paints, which are baked right into the vinyl and will never peel or chip.

Franny was given a nice baby manicure and pedicure. Her nails, as well as her mouth, have been glossed and sealed. Her lips have just a bit of a moist look.

I gently opened Frannys' nose so she can "breathe". I painted on barely t eyebrows, and gave her eyelashes to match her hair. She has beautifull Blue Masterpiece eyes.

Franny has beautiful soft wispy reddish brown baby hair. It has been micro-rooted several strands at a time with a very high quality mohair. It has been sealed inside with waterproof glue, so her hair can be gently wet and styled .I recommend a baby comb and brush. This is a very time consuming process, but well worth it for the results. Her hair feels so real, and appears to be growing right out of her scalp.

Franny has full limbs, and a fully poseable doe suede body. She has been weighted and stuffed with polyfill and feels so cuddly you won't want to put her down. T is no sand in any of my dolls.

Franny will come home with 2 outfits. The first is a pretty little dress with a white bodice and the skirt is pink with white stripes with flowers on it.The other is a white romper covered in eyelet lace. The bodice has a little pink rosebud. This outfit comes with a matching bonnet which also goes well with her dress. The pink bonnet she is wearing in a few of the pictures is handmade and trimmed with ribbons and lace. She is also wearing pink sandals embellished with flowers and a diaper. She has a pink hair bow , a crystal name bracelet, and will be wrapped in her blanket for her trip home. Her cute pink yellow and white pacifier with an elephant on it fits her mouth perfectly without any modification. Earrings can be added at no additional charge. In addition, she will have a birth certificate. Emily wears newborn to 3 month clothing, and can wear just about anything since she has full limbs.

I have taken great pleasure in reborning this sweet little girl. I hope to find her a good home.

This is no longer a play toy, but a true one of a kind collectible.
